CLE has been procured by the Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation (DCR) to implement roof and building envelope assessments across various structures which they own/ operate/ manage. The project is divided up into three phases with each phase involving inspections, reporting, repair recommendations and integration of findings into the DCR GIS database based on CLE’s specific set of inspection criteria. The Project includes a wide range of structures from hockey rinks, pool bath houses, large shade pavilions, colonial era properties, ski lodges, and even World War I & II military fortifications. The properties can be found all throughout the Commonwealth with a heavy concentration in the Metro Boston area.
In total over 2100 structures and 4.3 million sq ft of roof area controlled by DCR and MA Department of Fish and Game (DFG) will be inspected, cataloged and reported to DCR. As part of this engagement, CLE also performed and completed a solar feasibility analysis and structural inspections on three (3) of the project sites.
